Continuing down my list of favorite characters alphabetically, I am thrilled to find a spot for a character that truly had a profound impact on my childhood.
C is for Charlotte from Charlotte's Web
Charlotte from E.B. White's Charlotte's Web really taught me something very important as a child: there is a creative solution to every problem, no matter how dire it might seem.
I think we all had moments as children where we felt alone and afraid. Charlotte's voice was crucial for me, as it was a calming reminder that things will work out in the end. I am very hopeful that she will fill the same role for my own children someday.
I'm diggin' your theme.
ReplyDeleteLove it! :)
ReplyDeletea clever classic character for c day - love charlotte!
ReplyDeleteand love your theme!
I thin Debbie Reynolds voiced Charlotte in the early seventies animated version. Paul Lynde was Templeton the rat. Such familar voices that always make me smile--even now when I am only hearing them in my mind's ear.
ReplyDeleteI read this book over and over as a child. Charlotte is wonderful :)

ReplyDeleteGreat topics for the challenge and a perfect one for C. Such an amazing book and movie, though sad. I still remember it fondly.
